1.0.5

Released on Jun 1, 2026

Features

Meta & counters algorithm rework:

With the latest change to hiding private profiles made by TiMi we had to adjust our algorithm for calculating meta & counters.

We now do a multi-stage ranked player pipeline instead of directly running match history lookups on the full ranked list.

Stage 1 : Ranked list

We pull the top 10,000 ranked players for the current season. This gives us a starting pool of UIDs with rank and division data.

Stage 2 : Profile validation

Then we do a profile check on every UID in that pool. Any account that is hidden or doesn't exist gets filtered out immediately and added to an invalid list. This means we never waste time on those accounts again during the current meta generation.

Stage 3 : Match history sweep

For every confirmed valid player we fetch the match history. From each match we then collect the UIDs of all other players who appeared in those games, these are brand new accounts we haven't seen before.

This are players that are directly matched against another player that is amongst the top 10k, so you can assume that they are very good players.

The expansion loop

We now do repeated passes: profile check the newly discovered UIDs, add the valid ones to our pool, fetch their match histories to find even more UIDs, and repeat. Each pass is called a layer. This continues until we have exactly 10,000 confirmed valid accounts.

Why this matters

Previously a significant portion of the top ranked list had hidden profiles, meaning their match data was inaccessible and wasted request slots. We now guarantee that every UID used to generate the meta report belongs to an account with publicly accessible match history, giving a cleaner and more complete dataset. Of the players outside of the top 10,000 ranked, we use the highest ranking elo players for the dataset.

This still generates a consistent and accurate meta report, which is also future proof in case other people would hide their profiles.
